Pumpkin Carving with adopted students :)

We have an 'adopt a student' program at church where you can sign up to be a family for a student or two :)  We offered to have 2 students and we were blessed with Minyona Mason and Karen Li.  Both from Chicago and both SWEET and CARING and KIND and listen to this - LOVE KIDS....!  Phew.....

So we had them over last night for the first time and we carved pumpkins and ate enchilada's together as a family!  I cant express to you how much fun this was!  These girls are amazing...!  They have so much patience with our kids and they care about them....and they even stuck their hands into gooey pumpkins to gut them AND got Cailer to do it as well!! (he was completely grossed out BUT it become a competition to see who could get their pumpkin cleaned out first!)

Here are some pics from our fun evening!

Jaci at the Pumpkin Patch picking out the pumpkins!  She was loving it.  I kept saying 'eek be careful'....I thought she was going to drop one and it would squash...
